GCS Questionnaire Data

Please, specify: (1) the species; (2) species number; and (3) age of the green assets that are or will be planted on the Land

Please, specify how many trees of each species are to be / have been planted per hectare.

Please select a sample group of 5%-10% of the trees, and provide us with the average for the following: (1) height; and (2) diameter.

Is there any specific height you will keep the trees/plants at, and what height is that? I.e., you will keep them trimmed so they do not surpass the height of X meters.

Number of years of estimated project duration/tree lifespan. We need to know for how many years you intend the trees to remain as/where they are, for CO2 compensation estimation purposes.

Please, note that we only accept projects that are permanent, that is, projects in which the trees will be kept and managed for the whole lifespan of the tree.

20 years for the CO2 tokens, trees will be there for minimum 30 years

Please, list any potential "leakages" the project may generate. (Leakages: increase of carbon emission associated with the planting project: pesticides, transport of the fruit...)

There are no potential negative leakage that we know of right now. The communities don’t use pesticides and transport is being done by hand and boat due to the locations in the amazon

Has the Land undergone any deforestation in the past 3 years? If so, what was the cause?

Have the trees/plants been planted as a result of a government's mandate, policy, or initiative, or do you have any notice of the government counting your carbon compensation activities?

Proof of Life

Proof of Life (PoL) is requested at regular intervals to maintain adherence to GCS requirements throughout the project's contract terms.
